This week is Cerebral Palsy Awareness week here at
Jefferson Middle School. We have students here at Jefferson
that were born with Cerebral Palsy, as well as many other
people around the world, and we are here to celebrate them
and the amazing strides they have made in their everyday life.
There are more boys born with Cerebral Palsy than girls. For
every 100 girls born with CP, there are 135 boys and about
one-half of these children are born prematurely.
Please wear the color green on Friday and bring your spare
change to donate to this amazing cause. There will also be
a Photo Booth in the multipurpose room this Friday during
your lunch periods set up by our FLS team in room 601.
For the 2nd time this week, Sam Good medaled at the
cross country meets! Congratulations, Sam! Brooklynn
Sweikar, Taten Ludwig, and Gurveena Singh also took
home medals for the Jaguars last night. Special
recognition also goes to David Ard and Nate Bell who
had personal bests. Good luck to our sectional runners
