It's impossible to track how many times in a day we read or use math - skills many of us take
for granted. Did you know that less than 40% of 3rd-grade students in our community can
meet or exceed the state-mandated tests in reading and math? We need to do better for our
future workforce. Can we count on you to spend just one hour a week helping students in our
community learn to read and count this fall? Can we count on you to spend just one hour a

We had a full day at Dr. Howard today! Staff got together to discuss our hopes and dreams for the building and we ended the night with our back to school event. Thank you to our food services friends and PTA for your help. We will see you on Monday! 💙🦉
